Emirates begins limited flight resumption from tonight
Priority given to rebooked passengers
DUBAI – Emirates has announced the gradual return of a limited number of flights starting the evening of March 2 as the UAE aviation sector begins to stabilise.
The airline said priority will be given to customers holding earlier bookings, with affected passengers being contacted directly once rebooked.
Gradual restart
The move follows three days of severe disruption after regional airspace closures forced widespread cancellations across the Middle East.
Despite the limited restart, Emirates confirmed that all other flights remain suspended until further notice.
Travel advisory
Passengers have been strongly urged not to proceed to the airport unless they have received confirmed flight details from the airline.
Meanwhile, Dubai Airports confirmed a limited resumption of operations at Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International Airport and Dubai International.
Officials said only a small number of flights will operate during the initial recovery phase.
